Selecting a species is used to calculate frequency scores (FS) of motifs, which is one of the means for scoring and sorting motifs. If your species is not listed this is a limitation, but we suggest you choose a related organism or rely more on Surface Prediction Scoring (SPS) for sorting motifs. We find that choosing an incorrect species will affect scores 1-3 fold in most cases. We will be updating our website with new organisms in the future. Keep posted.
